No Harry Potter over xmas!

I gather you already own the DVD's? What's the problem?

The last time I checked... I decide when I want to watch any given film. A "TV schedule" doesn't decide it for me.

It's actually on a few times over Christmas -

Sunday 23rd December -
9pm - Sky Movies SD1/HD1

Tuesday 25th December -
8pm - Sky Movies Family

Friday 28th December -
8pm - Sky Movies Family

Monday 31st December -
8pm - Sky Movies Family

Not much use if you don't subscribe to Sky Movies of course, but there is a Harry Potter film on over Christmas.

Why would you gather that? I don't own a single one, but I'd gotten used to seeing one at xmas. Even if I did, I'd still be suprised that there isn't one on at xmas, I thought it was going to be one of those xmas certainties.

Sorry sky people, don't have sky at all. I knew about that documentary as well.

I would gather that because of your over exaggerated response to it not being on TV, therefore I would assume you were a big fan, and no big Harry Potter fan is without the DVD's.

Go out and buy them, or purchase them from somewhere online and you'll have no reason to complain. It's not like they are really expensive. The first four Harry Potter films are all incredibly cheap now in fact. Next you're going to be telling me you don't own a DVD player. Also incredibly cheap to own these days.

... and what's with all this "Xmas" nonsense? I'm atheist, and even I will say "Christmas" whenever it suits me. I couldn't give a monkey's about offending another religion, because I don't believe in any kind of god, and I never will. The word "Christmas" is as fictional to me as "Hogwarts".

I'd forgotten I'd even started this thread and confused at the angry responses, I was genuinely suprised none of them were on over xmas, it's irrelevent to whether I own the DVRAB or not. My comment was tongue in cheek, which shouldn't need pointing out.

Rhinestone: don't see what's wrong with the word "xmas". I don't use it for any religious or anti-religious reason. It seems to offend you though.

Blackhorse: were you insulting me for some reason? Or just saying the films were rubbish?
