I got a financial aid letter in the mail from community college. It says:
"the enclosed award letter shows your financial aid awards being offered for the 2010 - 11 school year. (fall 2010, winter 2011, and summer 2011). The aid is offered ONly for the semester indicated."
I am confused. I thought you went to school generally Fall, Winter, and Spring and got summer off unless you decied to take an extra class during the summer....
It also says I don't get any financial aid for summer and that there is a separate application you need to fill out if you want financial aid for the summer.
Question: Why don't I get financial aid for spring? Is it common for community college to not have classes in the spring?
I have no idea what system it is on lol. Umm... I'm still confused. So that means the "winter" term is really like the time span of both the winter and spring?
