Hello,
I have a satellite that was just hooked up after 5 months of being down. My problem appears to be that I'm unable to get any of the even transponders (with exception of #32). The odd transponders have a signal strength of 85-100%. This happens with both of the receivers that are plugged into the satellite. I was at one point able to get the even transponders with exception of #'s 4,6,10,16,22 and 28. But after watching tv for a little while those seemed to have disappeared. I tried upon suggestions of this forum using a different cable (brand new RG6 cable) to see if it was a cable fault which it appears it wasn't. So I'm now thinking that I need to replace the LNB, but my problem is I haven't been able to find a store in Toronto that I could just walk into a purchase a new one.
Any help with this would be greatly accepted.
Thank You
Rob
