Hi guys,
Well, the results of my MRI show nothing new, which is good news but hellloooo, more body parts are going nurab! He still thinks it is the SI joint. Could be from my hardware in addition to the SI joint. So we are at an impass. I can still get injections for a while but I think he wants me to stop the injections and learn to live with the pain until I decide I am willing to undergo surgery again. We just can't win can we. At first I thought he was shutting me out, giving me my walking papers so I asked him does that mean I need to stop taking my meRAB? He said, that is up to you, but it'd be stupid. Then we both laughed so hard. We talked a bit about my quality of life and the fact that I still sit on a heating pad most of the day on and off and he said oh, no no no, lets try another injection. So, I got a caudal injection. I won't know how I feel for a few days because it will initially cause more inflamation but it is designed to reduce it. I can't believe how funny I felt after it. I couldn't stop grinning and laughing because I was all tingly from the waist down and let me tell you, that was a far far better feeling than the normal every day pain. The novacain has worn off now
but I am hopeful about this one. We have to keep the faith right?
