no codes show ford focus problem?
I had problem several months ago where my 2002 with 135K miles sounded like would stall and did not until two months after first sympthoms. Took it to trusted dealer who found probme in spark plug wires. The plugs had already been changed 6 months or so before. Other than a serpentine belt never had a problem. A few weeks ago car started again but only when starting up. It could be from either a cold start or long after car driven, stop for an hour, starts back up, stop again and when start it does but only after it sounds like wants to stall. It never does stall. Took in back to dealer again put on computer no charge and nothing show up, no codes. They cannot find the problem. Put in some dry gas and injector cleaner after filling up. A week later it is still doing it only today, it sounded like wanted to stall while at a stop sign and did this twice. Never actually stalled. Took to auto zone, no codes show up. Car regular maintence, not engine or transmission problem, no fuel clog, clean air and fuel filters, both changed in the last eight months air and just 2 months fuel filter. Does anyone have any ideas? My dealership is good, not a rip off, but they cannot find the problem. PLEASE help if you can. THANKS!
