Lately I've been having problems receiving a 3G signal on my Nokia N95 8GB. I used to be able to use 3G a few days ago, in the same location; no major changes have been made to the phone since.
The phone is set to dual mode but only locks onto GSM (2G) signals. If I select "3G mode only", then I get no signal whatsoever and cannot make any calls.
I also have an N85, and if I switch my SIM card from the N95 8GB to the N85, then the N85 gets the 3G signal immediately, from the same mobile operator that the N95 8GB only got a 2G signal from. Obviously, it's not the SIM, and it's not the location. Also, I would think, it's not a hardware fault in the N95 8GB, since it *was* able to pick up on 3G signals a while back. What could be wrong? Thanks in advance for any help.
