NNAT testing for grade school students?

NNAT testing for students?
Can anyone tell me what this means:

Our son is a 2nd grader and took the NNAT and Reading Comprehension test at school. His scores are as follows:

NNAT: 578
Reading Comprehension: 589

We don't know what those scores mean and are honestly shocked that he passed his grade. He attends school in Florida, if that matters.
