So my son's doctor switched him to "NIRAVAM alprazolam orally disintegrating tablets" for his severe anxiety disorder. I have looked it up on the internet and see that it is orally disintegrating Xanax. What I am wondering is, why would this be more desirable or effective than just regular old Xanax? It is much more expensive. I am only trying him on it for the first time today. Any insight available would be appreciate.
