that doesn't make sense. you don't have one on your tv remote. you don't have one on other wireless controllers. the point of the strap is obviously to stop it from flying because you're meant to move the controller around. they should recall them or give out a stronger cable.

The PSP had a hand strap incase you dropped it, almost exactly the same too. Not many people used it though.
