Hi all,

A week ago, I found that all my 82's odd transponders were dead for my 3100. The 82's even transponders are fine and so are the 91's ones. So far, the two LNBs have been switched and the LNB switch has been by-passed. So far, all the infos are pointing to missing all the ODD transponders from the 82 satellite Or the receiver is just dying - I don't know. I am living in Orange County, CA. Does anyone have your receiver running close to me? Please share your 82's info. Thank you so... much!

I'm in Salem, Oregon. I currently have the 36" Superdish 105 dish up here. Nimiq 2 odd transponders are doing fine over here, with 80% from trans #1. Is your dish out of alignment? Please double check everything first. :p

Or maybe we have to cancel our subscription after these enjoyable years. Thanks Guy!

You did not tell us the size of Dish.

Could be that you need a larger Dish for Nimiq 2.

Does any post show that it will work for a larger dish? I wonder if the footprint simply does not fall on Southern CA anymore.

Bell Express Vu doesn't have the right to broadcast in the USA...therefore it is very possible that you are missing channels even if you pay your subsciption

If you call our technical departement about it the only thing you will and up with s a cancelled account

I cant find an updated footprint map anywhere. Ex Vu have been moving transponders around as they added "new" Birds. (The new birds are old ones leased by Telsat Canada to augment the failing birds they have)

It's entirely possible they have changed the footprint.

Yet another "no odd- or no even-transponders" victim! See this:

and this:

Yet another example of 3100s not getting half the transponders convinces me even more this is not a "bad LNB", nor "bad switch", nor "bad cable" nor "bad receiver" issue, but has something to do with the signal itself, maybe a consequence of BEV "moving transponders around", as per Nimiq 1.

Has anybody verified if the might have removed DP & DPP support?
Because of the stacked nature, wouldn't this essentially cause a complete loss of an entire polarity?

They have officially stated that they reserve that right if they so choose.

NO, Dp / DPP support is still there, just did an installation today, Express Vu VIP, had to use DPP as only 1 RG6 was run into the Home Theatre room.

Thank God for E-Bay....lol

Express VU tell use to go ahead and do Dp / DPP installations but never supply the equipment.

They will pay us but it will take months to get it.

Yes, I am quite convinced. Some of the posts from SatelliteGuy.us around Los Angeles also posted the same transponders lost.
