I have a Nikon D40x and am looking to invest in a good quality lens.
I've been recommended a Nikkor 85mm lens, and I was hoping someone with this lens could provide me some samples you have taken with the lens, and/or if you recommend the lens!
I was also wondering if there are any other lenses anyone could highly recommend for use.
I'm looking for a lens that will be used mainly for portraits, in both natural lighting and with my speedlight sb 800. I'm also looking for something that will produce sharp portraits, with vivid coloring without being ridiculously expensive.
I use both auto and manual focus.
