Nice secluded Camp Site NEAR New York PLEASE HELP?

Im looking for a place (not too expensive) to go camping, I live in NYC, so anywhere within a few hours drive is fine. Ideal it would be around 3 hours away (can be more) and have either very isolated camp grounds, or somewhere where you can legally camp where there are no camp grounds (would need to park the car, hopefully not too far a hike). Any advice would be great! Who-evers idea I use, ill give them the 10pts
