She's got a point... if you can drive a manual and you've got it down well, you can figure out how to drive any car or typical wheeled vehicle.

The airplane thing is different, but you know, she's probably crazy.

Anyways, if she's trying to give you a car - fucking take it. A car is a car, Volvos are nice, if you learn to drive manual you'll like it (it's way more fun), and you aren't too good to drive an old car.
 
Dude take the car. You will never have more fun than in a car you care nothing about. Driving down the highway taking out road cones for 2 miles with the door open. Having as a bottle rocket war on the highway doing 80. All thanks to a car I paid $500 for.




Yes, FWD, and it weighed 1600 pounds. I wasn't going to "just" replace the engine, I was going to make it RWD. You can basickly take the drive train from a truck and shorten it up and make it fit in any car. The drive shaft in my escort desing was going to be 3 inches long.

And the bigest production gas engine you might want is the 502 (cadilac) the 460 is ford, the 455 is oldsmobile 454 chevy/gmc 440 dodge, then you get to the fun engines 429, 428, 427 ford engines the 427 long block truck engine gmc/chevy and 427 short block (same) and the 426 hemi.

Yeah you guys have a point...

But then again the car is fucking SLOW.And when I start driving, my parents want me to get a big car.

But lee, I've always wanted to get a cheap car like that and just drive recklessly.

But back on the car modding subject,


They do a lot of this kind of stuff in Mexico. My friend's uncle took an old VW Beetle and put the bed of a truck on the back somehow and put wheels and stuff in it. I haven't seen it, but doing stuff like that is a blast.

The same friend has a neighbor who does all this sweet stuff with ATVs, Go-Carts, Caddies, etc. and we rode around his neighborhood in this tricked out Golf Cart and it was tight.
