NHL Centre Ice Gone!

Did anyone else lose their NHL Centre Ice channels tonight? I added 2 theme packs earlier in the day, came home after work, and Centre Ice was gone off guide. It didn't even show up in red as unavailable...not a trace of it at all. Called bell and did a system re-sync, but nothing back yet.

Anyone else having any problems/have any ideas?

I noticed the same thing last night (20th). MLB were there in the high 400's, but no NHL and no big gap in numbers. I thought maybe they had moved it to the other satellite as I was watching on an old SD-only system just pointed at one satellite.
 
Did you add the themes online? Every time i do a change online my ppv sports disappear.

I have to call to get them added again, and its not easy to explain this to them believe me.

One time they even wanted to charge me for Center Ice again.

I no longer do anything online through their website now because of this.
 
i actually did add the themes online. maybe that is the problem. i called bell this afternoon and spoke to someone. they apologized for the mistake and the channels are now back. so, the lesson is to add channels by calling, i guess.

There seems to be a "glitch" has thy call it in the system that deletes the sports package from the account when client goes on line to add themes or channels...

When this happen all the agent has to do is to add them again to the account...
When the agent adds again to the account it creates an invoice for it...
Since EV is far from beiong pro-active in that type of matters there is no way, other than leaving a note on the account for the agent to prevent that.
The client then has to call the following month to complain that he was billed again for a package that he already paid, then the agent could then request a credit, which would take 3-6 weeks to be reflected on the bill.
I the meantime if he didn't paid the part of the sports package he's been billed for he would get late fee., then a 25$ administration fee when it would be considered 60 days late. It would how as a bad mark on his credit record

I had a few cases like those when I was an agent... I wanted to prevent the client from being charged again for the package. I asked what I could do about it and was told that there is nothing I could do, system should see that he already paid the package, and if the system still charges the client he would certainly call and complain about it. I kept the number of the client a few times, to go verify after the next bill and in a few cases the client was charged.

Watch your next bill!!!
Next time you want to add a theme pack call in...the agent will be glad to add it for you, as part of is/her bonus depends on the sales!
 
then in an effort to improve customer service, that issue should have been fixed immediately...since it has been that way for a very long time, it is obvious BEV could care less about customer service.


well isn't that convenient...perhaps that is why they are in no hurry to fix it...i wonder how many people don't call in to get it fixed...what a joke.



yet another problem...since when is "fixing" something considered a sale...this company never ceases to amaze me.
