Just noticed this morning that NHL Centre Ice is free until January 16th. Tons of free games to watch tonight:

Pittsburgh-Atlanta (Crosby vs Kovalchuk)
Colorado-Carolina
New Jersey-Buffalo
Tampa Bay-Florida(available in HD on channel 866)
Nashville-Columbus

And Montreal-New York will be in HD on 804. Unlike past weeks where the channel guide would say the game is either in HD or widescreen SD, the guide for tonight says the game is in HD. So three HD games on HNIC tonight (Detroit-Ottawa, Montreal-Rangers, and Toronto-San Jose in game 2).

804 is now the Montreal/NYR game in HD. How did they manage that? They must have brought in the HD truck from the West. I wonder if the Leafs/Sharks game will be in HD.

Is it just my 9200, or is the playback of the game on 804 "jerky" for others as well?

Are others seeing some "streking/blocking" during movements on the Detroit/Ottawa game on 802. It almost appears that CBCHD on 802 is starting to suffer from compression again. Mainly it looks good, but I am getting some blocking/streaking on movement. Watching on a 58" 1080p plasma.

so I just watched the Buffalo v NJ game and decided to tune into channel 399 for more info (i think it was 299). I highlighted NHL Centre Ice and hit OK on my remote. I then received a screen saying thanks for subscribing... WHAT'S UP WITH THAT? I can't even order a PPV as my receiver isn't hooked up to a phone line and I'm automatically signed up for Centre Ice?? I would have expected to get a message asking me to confirm my purchase.

Anyone else run into a problem like this??

I did the exact same thing. I called them shortly after I did, the guy said that there was nothing added to my account, but on the confirmation screen it said it may take 24 hours to process the order or show up on the bill or something, I don't remember exactly what it said. I'm going to call them back tomorrow and see if there is anything on there, and if so tell them to cancel it.

No streaking/blocking on either 802 or 804 for me last night. Just two really good HD transmissions (and two good games).
