I have a Nexus 1. When I was running 2.1 my battery life was the best I have ever seen, I never had problems unless certain apps were running in the background. In those cases, I just killed the apps and the majority of them would not start again until I opened them. The Facebook app, while running in the background, would drain the battery extremely fast and make my phone hot, but as with the other apps, I just killed it and it stayed off. Now that I am running 2.2, the Facebook app keeps starting up without me opening it, and it drains my battery. I have to kill it every 10 minutes to keep my battery from depleting. I did not have this problem on 2.1, the facebook app would stay closed when i killed it. Now on 2.2 it keeps starting up for no reason and kills my battery in a short time. I changed the settings so it does not automatically sync and have unchecked the background running services. Any help would be much appreciated!!
