nextel account : pending?

so i called nextel earlier today about something. they said something about a credit deposit and they needed my account number. the thing is, i never got my account number. everytime i check online to look it always says account pending. whats that supposed to mean? and what am i supposed to do?

they make you put down like 500 i believe if you don't have good credit/no credit
