Oh heaven's no, we haven't passed a law requiring "immigrant looking people" to keep their papers on them at all times.

Nothing will come of this.

When you have an AG who openly admits in public that it is not "illegal" to be an "illegal" immigrant in Massachusetts you have a problem.

One could only wish, but I do think that Nov 2 there will be a few more Repubs taking seats away from liberal douchebags polluting Beacon Hill.

Read about this in the Globe today.

All they are doing is making sure that illegals don't get money or free services. Something that should have already been in place long ago.

The bill is redundant in that most of it already exists, this is just political grandstanding

Most of AZ law already exists too in the Federal version. Only problem is, the Feds aren't enforcing it.

Hence, it isn't "redundant" if one side enforces the law but the other side doesn't.

Yes it does. But then again, if that was the case. Obama's aunt who is here illegally, wouldn't have gotten her public assistance. Barry couldn't have that now.

It was. It's like when the republicans kept claiming that illegals would get access to HC from the new bill, the dems had to put in the clause 3 different times in order to shut up the republicans.
