I broke up with my boyfriend yesterday, and I'm really regretting it. I love him so much (it was a pretty long relationship) and he feels the same way about me. He's a good guy that has never hurt me (well, maybe my feelings a few times, but nothing too serious) and would never cheat, lie, etc. The problem is that we don't get along a lot of the time, because he has low self-esteem and always feels like he has to be right. He's going to start going to counseling to get help. I really just want to kind of go back out with him, but take it REALLY slow and start from the begining. We won't spend much time together at all, and we'll respect each other, etc. I just... I never want him to be with another girl. I've been crying almost non-stop. Do you think maybe with a lot of counseling and professional help (he may be bipolar, etc.) he'll be able to change over time?
