Nexium

Been on Nexium just over 2 weeks now. 40mg every day. I am wondering though can I cut them in half and just take 20mg and see how I do. I know some people take them as 20 mg. I just have this upper abdominal cramping and I want to know if the nexium is causing that. It is really bothering me !!
 
I'd check with a doctor or pharmacist before splitting the Nexium. I'm not sure about its effectiveness that way.

Of all the PPI's, Nexium was the only one I had side effects with. It messed with my stomach and gut too.
