newly wed and living with mother-in-law?

we just got married and living with my parents-in-laws. When my mother-in-law asked me to go to the market with her and was given an option to follow or not at that very morning, I humbly declined as i was very tired. she started giving me side remakrs and gave me intructions on how to look after the house when she's away. how do i deal in such situations?

you didnt say why u were living with them, are u building a house or saving? If not move out!
 
Sadly, you are in her home! Id advise you and your husband to start saving to move. In the meantime, I would just say Ok Thanks, and leave it alone.
