I have heard that the Newcastle/Durham medical school (They are mostly amalgamated) is the best in the country after Oxford or Cambridge, I am aiming at that sort of level but want to be a GP and I have heard from the admissions department at Newcastle/Durham that their course is suited for GP's, why is it that the Times Good University guide rates them as 16th on the list whereas I have heard that it is 3rd?
