I live in Philadelphia and my boyfriend and I are having a baby. I have a car to get around to school and to my family and friends in New Jersey, but my boyfriend only rides his bike. He thinks it's okay to have the baby strapped to him with a baby carrier and he ride his bike.
I think it's too dangerous and not at all safe. He thinks that it is safe and wouldn't be a problem.
What do you think?

he cannot ride a bike with a baby strapped to him, if he wants to take the baby on the bike he will need a bike with a proper baby seat on it and ask your prospective pediatrician to talk to him about it.

that is something you two will have to work out on your own, but for me, I would find it too dangerous.

That's not at all safe. Should he fall, or (heaven forbid) be hit by a car, the baby would not be protected. Also, I can't imagine that that weather in Philly is always predictable enough to take a baby outside for lengths of time. The wind and the moisture in the air will make the baby sick.

You are right. ANSWER MINE PLZ I'M DESPERATE!!!!!!!!!!

If bike accidents never happened, sure it would be safe. But they do, which is why bike riders wear helmets. If car accidents didn't happen, we wouldn't need car seats either. It's really easy to imagine some quite terrible things happening in this scenario.
