Im 39 weeks and fixing to pop. we put the car seat in the truck today to see how its going to fit. we got the smallest one we could find due to the size of our truck. We have an 07 toyota tacoma with bench seats in back seat. our problem is that when we put the seat on either side in the back we have to move the seat up so far that our legs cant even fit in to sit down. The seat cant sit in middle because of the console, it holds the base away from actual seat. I really don't want the seat in front since its so open up there and would like to figure out a way for the back seat to work. Is it possible to have the seat strapped in sideways? this is becoming a hard issue since its our only vehicle and cant afford to get a new used or trade this one in. Any info please help.
