Newbie w/ a couple of Nextel??'s

Hi guys I just got on here because I just got my nextel phone, it's an i730, I already have a data cablew/CD on order so I can download some new ringers, as far as wallpapers go for this phone, is it possible to take a digital image and minimize it's pixel size so it can be downloaded and used as a wallpaper! Also what are the best site I should be looking at to get some decent ringtones for free! Thanks again!
 
1badss, thanks for the link. I just got my data cable and driver from a friend, I uploaded the files and so far what do I do next? At first, iwas not able to get my PC and my phone to link but with a little searching and I ended up with a iDENcompanion pro and it shows that my phone is succesfully connecting with my PC , but searching on here I ending up on a dead end trail, any help would be greatly appreciated from anyone on here. I am computer literate to a point. Is there a how to on uploading on this site?

Thanks for the response, I found that link late last night, did everything it said and got it to communicate with my phone, from their I started downloading some midi files from the wirelessmatt site and then started adding them into that webjal program as soon as I hit the download button it says that the phone is not connected?? I disconnected the data cable from the phone and the reconnected it again and hit download then it said that the phone was doing something else. I checked the preference settings and made sure the box for usb cable was checked on and I know it had communicated with the phone before? Kinda bummed and lost at the same time! If you could help me figure that out that would be great, is there a certain setting that I have to do with my phone or should it be doing it automatically, when I got it to connect with my phone, my screen went all white and it had a black text saying something like sms...mms in session if that helps any to you. ANY Ideas to try let me know.
 
I went to that link you gave me an tried it one more time this time, I got down to the part that says download usb driver, which I did and thats when the box popped up to say go ahead and connect from there I got another box popping up that was pointing out an unknown usb device, totally lost from there, I called the iden tech support because I had a box popping up that kept saying there was an unknown device they were able to walk me thru it and got it connected now it shows that I am properly connected, I tried webjal and logged on and it stilll is aying that I am not connected on the bottom of the box and as soon as I hit the connect phone button up top a box pops up saying phone is busy performing another application.
 
I was wondering if you could tell me where you found the iDEN companion because I am having trouble getting my computer to recognize my phone. I also have a i730 and the data cable ( the round one that resembles the charger)
