Hi all,

ok very green at this so here goes.

1. installing dual lnb's how do you tell which one is the 13 volt and which one is the 18volt or does it matter?

2. have 95% signal on 91 but when go to 82 says wrong sat and signal is still at 95% I must be close but which thing do I move the srew? left right? or up and down?

any help here would be great.

thanks.

Dont worry about the 13/18V, both are on each LNB
First off, make sure the arm/mast is plumb (level on the front and side)
If it isnt, hitting both satellites with the settings for your area will be near impossible
After the arm is level, aim the dish for 91 first, get a good signal, then check the signal on 82, and peak it if necessary
Check the signal for each satellite after every time you peak it, and when you get a decent signal on both, then run a check switch
If all else fails, call Bell to send a tech out, it should take him only a few minutes, and time permitting you might get the cable run as well
The service call should run you $75
Good luck

thanks ok good to know about the 13/18 thing will work on the dish setup as I have to be close with it showing 95% and picking up sat 91 at 82 will check the plumb thingy out and see if its out..would love to call a bell tech but closest one 100 miles away.

cheers

if you are picking up 91, at the 82, then you are too far
it is confusing,
it is a reflector, the dish that is, so remember it being like a mirror
if the arm is off level even the slightest, you will be there forever using the angles provided
use a $ store level, it will work
if you are picking up 91 with the 82 lnb, that means you have gone too far, swing the dish to the left, so 82 will hit 82, and then 91 will get 91 (in a perfect world)
