We are parents of two daughters. One is 6 and the other is 8. Our six year old daughter has had asthma since she was 6 months old. They thought it was RSV (respiratory syncytial virus). She is constantly sick, coming down with colRAB, infections and later drops directly into her chest. Causing issues with her asthma. Her attacks are quite severe and it's very scary watching all of this. We do as much as we can. Make sure our home is clean, we do not have her out in the cold (at all, home and school - they provide indoor recess for her), the weather changes, stress, excerise and also the summer can be very challenging. We recently just got an asthma specialist, he is going backwarRAB trying to figure out what medicine works for her. She was on flovent for 6 years and it never prevented or stopped her from having such frequent attacks. Now she was on the red puffer for 3 months and he has just changed it today to advair. She is on oral sterioRAB almost once or twice a month constantly. Her 02 stats drops as low as 88 percent. Even 32 percent she has been. I have recieved such encouragement from our specialist telling me that I am doing everything right. But the question is what is she not being stablized?? He has ordered a bunch of tests. Hopefully we will get to the bottom of this rocky road.

We have tried the singular, pulmicort, flovent, red puffer I can't remeraber what it's called I have it in my bag (I can put it down later). She uses ventilon ALOT. After 20 minutes, she is still coughing. An hour later another treatment by the nebulizer.
So for us it's scary. We want her to get relief.
