Hey all,
New to the forums here and hoping someone could possibly help me out with a question or two i have about a bike i picked up a year or so ago. I am located in Canada and figure that might have something to do with why I can't find much that corresponds with the numbers on the side of the bike that read "GS 750-E" I have punched this in with Suzuki in countless combinations and have come up with nothign that resembles the bike I have. This week I will have a chance to get the VIN number and will try to figure out a couple of things.

It is apparently an '84 or '85 and has a farring. The GS750-E's I have seen are from earlier years and are more of a cruising bike than sport. This might also be a distinguishing factor. The rear brake is a "full floater system" Anyways, I am trying to locate a manual for this bike or something close to it so I can start ordering a few parts that I need to get it up and running.

Thanks for all and any help.

Snider

In 84 the US had a law restricting 750's from Japan, so some were sent there as 700's. Some were not. Also a Bike that sold poorly in North America could be held back and sold in Europe and our Asia.

Thanks folks. That is just what I was looking for. Although I didn't think it was an '83 but I will be checking the VIN later this week.

Thanks a million
