As they say long time lurker, first time poster.... Bought an 848 a short while ago, and have been lurking around here finding out a few things about it, mostly mechanical issues inherent to the bike. It's been excellent so far, the only stalls I've personally experienced were at idle, and only twice. (Though I think one have been my fault) I must say I love this motorcycle. I've never owned a Ducati before but always wanted one since like.... forever it seems. I also own two other bikes, A 2005 ZX-10R and an '89 ZX-7R. All I've ever really known were Kawi's until now, and I'm an active member at ZX-10R.net. (excellent site too BTW )Like I said though, I absolutely adore this motorcycle, and can't wait to ride it again and again!! The only real issues are the seat which seemingly is made of concrete, and the mirrors. I haven't searched very much here on those issues yet, but was wondering what the general concensus was on what to replace the seat with, (Corbin, Sargeant, etc.) and if the mirror extensions are worth the effort. Or maybe bar-end mirrors, though I doubt I would do that. Thanks for reading this LONG first post, and for having me here.
