I am the youngest member of my family of 5.
I am a girl 16 years of age.
My 20 year old brother has been dealing with mental health for the last year and is currently diagnosed as a Schizophrenic.
Of course the doctors are doing the best they can but have not yet perfected his medication, leading him to only become worse.
He recently got angry and attacked myself and my mother, there was no serious damage but it was definitely a frightening experience that lead my family to see him in a different light.
The circumstances in New Zealand health system have specifications that wouldnt qualify my brother into the psychiatric ward at the hospital.
My Question is, where can we send him?
Of course there are options overseas but that comes with a price.
Is there ANY place in New Zealand that he can go where he can get some serious help?
