To add to what Cesarb said,
IT (to me) is the way that when I dive it into a corner I feel so connected to the road, it gives me so much feedback I can sense every little crack and bump where as most Jap bikes I've ridden although very capable tell me nothing and I push it through the corners on blind faith.
