I was wondering how many rods you're allowed to have in the water at a time when saltwater fishing in New York. I know that at the pier at Rye Beach (Playland) there's a sign that allows a maximum of two rods and that's what I go by, but I'm not sure if that's a state regulation or just a local ordinance. Please post links for the info, thanks
