Well i started a new job, and i'm an intern and there is this guy that has to explain me stuff and lecture me. I never saw someone so shy. he is definitely handsome but i wonder why he has no confidence. He almost whispers when speaking to me (i hardly hear him and frequently ask him to repeat), he also stutters, and he has a problem in looking at me directly. He kinda observes me when i'm not looking and when i turn and expect him to say something he turns around. When for example we were waiting for something or someone, like for 10 min, we stayed there without saying ANYTHING. I said something funny or any other subject to get the talk going and he laugh and then continued looking into the void. Awkward. How do i deal with this? Maybe he doesn't know me and is uncomfortable, but I hate those awkward moments when we stay there forever without speaking and looking at some void spot other than each other. I almost burst laughing about the whole situation, but i'm new and besides I don't want to offend him. How do i make him more confortable?
