...Deposit... WHY? I tried ordering the Droid Eris through Best Buy and was shocked when I saw a message saying Verizon would need a $125.00 deposit. I then went to the Verizon site and tried ordering and it went through the credit check process and didn't say anything about a deposit... Why would this happen? The only reason I wanted to order from Best Buy was so I could pick it up in the store an hour later instead of waiting days for it to arrive in the mail but if I have to pay $125.00 its not worth it...
If I go into the Verizon store will the outcome be the same as going online and not having to pay a deposit?
