Hello:
First time poster here, and for the record I did a search and found 5 dead topics on this subject so I am starting a new one, and will follow up here with my results should I find a solution.
I am looking to get a Verizon standard phone (no crackberries, smartphones or anything that requires an ancillary data plan for usage) that can sync via cable to my computer for scheduling purposes. I could care less about contacts, email, or any other frills that come with a $10 - $45 charge per month. In the past I had a Motorola Q, that I applied the data block to, and that worked great. The only downside to that was I had to block pictures, which was a bummer so I would like to avoid that on this round. When that badboy died I went to a standard phone, and for the past 2 years I have felt a little disorganized. I would like to get my schedule in order, and I was hoping that there was a device out there that would work.
So to review -
1.) Looking for a Verizon phone
2.) The phone does not require a data plan in any way shape or form
3.) The phone does not require a data block
4.) The phone can sync with Outlook
I am cool with using Bitpim or something else, and I will research for a solution, but I was wondering if anyone out there had information on this, or could point me in the right direction.
Thanks for your time and consideration.
Sincerely
