New user-need calendar help

Hi! I have had my Palm TX for 6 months, but hardly use it because I am soooo frustrated! I want to type in my calendar and contact information on my Windows desktop and then have it transfer to my Palm TX handheld. I spent a whole day using my Palm desktop, only to have none of it sync with my handheld. Please help!!

In the bottom right hand corner of the screen there will be the blue/red circular hotsync icon. If you go throught he menu's (unfortunately i don't have it loaded on my new computer) there should be something along the lines of conduits. Make sure Calender and Contacts are set to "Sync", if that doesn't work and you have limited uneeded information on your Palm, you can set it to "Desktop overwrites Palm".
