New to Sunrise . . . .

I'm really giving Sunrise an "audition" today and have a couple of questions for you "pros" out there, some of whom have been using it for some time as "Sunrise" and when it was "JPluck."

I use TealAgent (new version 2 days old, better interface) to get movie times for 5 different zip codes 20 miles apart, so that I've pretty much got all of SoCal sewn up. Wherever I am, I can see a flick and know the times. Auto download first hotsync each Friday morning after 7AM (when new times are posted). They get their movie information from Yahoo by zip code, and some information is incorrect but that's a Yahoo problem, not TealAgent/TealInfo. TealInfo creates a table for each zip code where I can sort by movie name or theater name, and the showtimes pop right up.

It's GREAT for movie times and CNN, but glitchy on other sites (like this one). Sometimes I'll get a "1k of nothing" file.

On the other hand, Sunrise captured "1 link deep" and "4 shades of gray" THIS SITE, down to page 4, with 1 link deep giving me the actual posts. I tried 2 links deep and that was taking forever. 1 link deep took around 2 minutes, and synced TO THE SD CARD (new in the 0.3.4 version out today) in about 20 seconds. Pretty good indeed. Easy to read in Plucker 1.8 on the handheld, etc.

My question is: Are there "tricks" for "short and sweet" downloads of MOVIE TIMES for Sunrise? Does anyone use for other "regularly visited sites" where information changes, like Fox News, etc? There is an example of BBC News but I wanted to ask you lot; as usual I'm interested in RESULTS and I'm sure you know how to "tweak it" to get it to perform at its best.

The 1st four pages of this site 1 link deep, by the way, was 782k on the Card - not transferred to RAM memory until you're actually reading it. In fact, I'll load TealMembrain and see if it actually "imports it" or not (TealDoc reads card docs without tying up RAM) - if that's the case then it's REALLY a terrific application.

I'm wondering how much time is spent (by you users out there) retrieving information for hotsync, versus my method of just "copying and pasting" in Notepad (plain text) and then TealDoc-ing it, as I do now. Those files, of course, are around 3-7k and plainly readable but not as "pretty."

I have only used Sunrise one time and that was when I downloaded the CIA Factbook a couple of weeks ago. That content was downloaded directly from the web site. I haven't tried converting content which has already been downloaded to my hard drive. However, I have done it several times with iSiloX and JPluckX. I haven't had the opportunity to do it with sunrise yet.
