new to page plus looking for 3 phones.

i'm helping my brother switch to page plus and he texts a lot and is gettign the talk and text 1200 plan. i went to ebay and did a search for cheapest new verizon phones with full qwerty and the motorola q was overwhelming what i found. the reviews dont' seem to bad on it.

i'm going with a standard rate plan and live in an area that doesn't always get a lot of signal strength. i want a phone that stands out and looks neat like a smartphone. i won't be surfing the net with my phone but it would be neat to play music on it.

my husband is also going with standard rate and wont' be using the net. he wants a camera but won't be sending pics just transfering them to the home computer. it would be nice if he and i had the same phone so we didn't have two sets of chargers floating around.

the phones being cheap is important. i can't see paying over a $100 for a phone
 
What type of phones do you prefer? Woud you like to have a full keyboard? Do you like touch screen phones?
What about your brother? Does he have any preference besides a full keyboard?
 
i've been looking at the pal treo 700 because its in my price range. the q and palm 700 both seem like computer that fit in your pocket. i just want a great texting phone for my brother. i want something that doesnt' look like a flip/clamshell phone that 90% of people have. i would like a full keyboard. no touch screen
