New to Gnut/what to download?

I'm a bit confused. When I download Gnutella, do I get all of the other "clients" or must I download each individually? And if I must do that, what do they do that gnutella doesn't?
 
The term Gnutella refers to the Gnutella file-sharing network; it doesn't refer to a particular client. You use a client to access the Gnutella network.
