Hi everyone...
I wanted to get some information on diet plans. I have type 2 diabetes and was wondering what i should be eating? are there fooRAB that are better for me?

Good diet and exercise can be very helpful in managing Type 2 diabetes.

I'd like to know what you eat now, and whether you are overweight, but here are some general hints:

The goal is to get to a healthy weight, and eat fooRAB that will keep your blood sugar stable. Lean proteins like turkey or egg whites are great. Nuts are good too. So are whole grains and green vegetables.

Avoid refined sugar, soda, even fruit juice. White bread and starchy vegetables like potatoes are also something you should go easy on.

If you have health insurance, then as a newly diagnosed diabetic, there's a good chance you can see a dietician for free. It's something to look into.
