Hello,
I am hoping I can get some feedback here. I was diagnosed with Spondylothesis two months ago and the doctor suggested physical therapy. I started the PT with only four exercises to do at home. I cannot return because I cannot afford it. I am wondering if anyone know of PT exercises online that I can print out? Would appreciate it very much. Thanks

Hello,
I have spondylolithesis, and was diagnosed about 3 years ago although I think I've had it much longer, and have had back issues since a teenager.

Physical therapy may help you to develop a stronger core, and that is usually the objective for this problem to help support an unstable lower back.
although I can say I went through the physical therapy and tried the water therapy, and both did not help me. I found that gentle stretching and walking were the only think that I could do as far as exercise. Water walking made me hurt worse as did some of the therapy and bicycle riding was the worst.

I haven't found much in the way of exercises online, but through trial and error, found that stretching works best for me.
I hope you find what works best for you, best wishes.

After my first injury I saw a physical therapist that used blocks and manipulation to move my spine back in place. At that time I was unaware that I had moderate spondy. If I had developed excellant muscles in that area, maybe the the area wouldn't have shifted again after the second injury. I had fusion surgery in 2005 and now suffer from Chronic pain syndrome and Failed back surgery syndrome. I have been in therapy 5 times and this was the only time I got any relief. Good luck to you finding relief for your pain.
