New tattoo touch up already?

I got a new one about 2 weeks ago on my chest, a few days after, I got accidently got sunburned where I got it at and broke out in heat rash around it. Since it was new it lost a lot if the ink and some of the fading lines completely faded. He told me to wait 3 weeks since I got it and he would touch it up. Since it was my fault that I faded the tattoo already, I want to pay him and I was wondering how big that would be reasonable to tip him because it was my doings. And has anyone else ever done this? Thank you
 
ya ive had that happen it usually isnt very expensive to get touch up i only paid $20 for my touch up and my tatts big..but since it was your doing u should deffinatly tipp him he will gain alot of respect for u if u do and will probably give u deals on tatts in the future to
