Howdy All!
Well, I finally took the plunge after my old m130 started giving up the ghost on me (on/off button didn't work, SD card kaput, etc). I ordered a new T5 from Palm and it arrived yesterday. So far it's pretty nice, but I have had a few problems already, primarily the program Titan Class World (http://www.classactionpl.com/TimePlace/index.htm) which came with it won't work without a fatal error. I was wondering if the other time app, WorldClock, caused a conflict.
My initial thoughts are I do miss the ability to check the time by pushing the 'up' buttom on the old 'M' series Palms. It also took me awhile to find the alarm clock (there is no clock app, just WorldClock). I also don't like how old apps appear on the T5, so I have deleted several that I didn't really use anyway.
But the screen is bright and clear, and I do like how I can expand it. And MobiFish runs and looks great on the T5! I have the WiFi card but haven't played around with it yet. Also, can anyone tell me what file extension is needed to play videos on the Palm Media player? I thought it would run .AVI files, but so far all I have gotten are error messages...
Cheers! M2
