Ok, I know there is a new aol service book allowing aol 2.0 messenger to work but I a question about this one:WLM MSP 2.6

WLM is probably Windows Live Messenger

I assume you are correct as BIS 2.5 is supposed to add WLM capabilities

It may be an extension but windows live messenger has a service book already it's windows live [KEYNEGO]. This one is for something different. It sounds like it should be for windows live an allowing hotmail/msn email access but if that's the case then .live emails should work as well. I can snyc hotmail and msn emails but not live. Is it even a new service book and if so any other ideas?

This one is for LCS (Live Communication Server) which is for corporate based msn.
