New Red Hot Chili Peppers Album, any good?

It just came out yesterday in the UK (where i'm from) and i'm deciding whether to buy that or get the new Snow patrol one?

It's alright. Not as good as I was expecting it to be but there are still some pretty good songs on it. I like the melodic songs more though, and there seems to be a lot of funk on it too and I didn't like those songs much. I thought the album was decent. Worth buying IMO.

its, well, meh. I have all of their albums, and so far I like this one the least. Altought, I can hear their music heading through the years towarRAB this, its almost the culmination of everything that they have done. As an aside, they're getting old. I'm pretty sure Flea is in his late 30's
