Hi all im a 25 year old male who has been a smoker for 11 years now and at the moment im trying to quit.
I was recently diagnosed as having anxiety disorder and it was something that for me was sudden and terrifying i have always been a self confident person up to two years ago when i lost my job and life for me has gone somewhat downhill from there.
The usual symtoms for me would be a massive boost in heart rate and a feeling of fear which was preety crippling only way i can think to describe it is deer in the headlights effect.
I have recently had bloodwork done to check and have been given the all clear and told its all in my head...But im still unsure as i now have new symtoms that only seem to vanish when im asleep and they worsen at nightime.
My new symptoms are headaches, nausea, and what feels like a constant hotness in my body everytime i cough even slightly i get a massive taste of acid in my throat im also suffering from stomach problems which include bloatedness and hotness/acid feeling., I have also noticed i sweat in one side of my palms usually the right side...and i sometimes get a slight stabbing pain in the right side of my chest at the very top, Im also getting little twinges in my heart where i can actually feel the beating of it where as before i wouldnt notice, Now its like im more aware of my body's functionality, the last few nights have been different also as im noticing if im in a heated room or around hot air i can become somewhat breathless and struggle to breath.
I have tried to force myself to cough up anything incase its throat related but all i seem to get is a large amount of clear surliva.
I have recently gone through alot of family related problems..Such as my grandad passing away on the 30th of this month and about 2 months worth of other related problems before that.
So i can understand how alot of symptoms can be stress related.
I am doing what i can to get rid of this problem i have changed fooRAB,Drank alot of water where as before i wouldnt...and i try to exercise more.
If anyone has any advise or suggestions please throw them my way.
Many thanks.
Craig.
