Thats the roaming prl. you get it if you have Roaming enabled in your plan. elsewise you have the 1040 PRL

Yeah you only get the 7788 PRL if you have roaming i just did *228 and i still have 1040 i dont have roaming so i guess thats for non roamers lol.

When i went to FL, i had the roaming prl. got back and go rid of the roaming off my plan, re-programed and now have 1040 back....phone worked great i talked, txt and checked my voicmail and it worked 100%....obviously no web worked ; )

Yes, there is, mine in Phoenix is 7719. And it makes sense as PRL's are prioritized geographically and by system. Maybe XFF will post here and give a more detailed and experienced explanation about what cricKet is doing with their roaming PRL's. :help:
