Don’t cry babies
Everything will be okay,
I know you’re feeling sad
Cuz papa went away.

He left us on our own
But we can still make it thru,
Papa may come and go
But I’ll always be here for you.

And I know right now
You both are too young to understand
Why papa walked away
And just let go of your hand

If I could make it better
Then I’d promise that I would
This wasn’t supposed to happen
I swear I’d fix it if I could

I know you might be scared
But mommas scared too
Everything will work out fine
This I promise you.
