New Phone(s)

if alltel gets the HTC Desire I for one would buy it if I hadn't bolted to Sprint for local coverage up in Charleston..

I'm starting to get the feeling that my personal early fears of this ATNI deal being bad may be very wrong. Looks like Alltel is setting themselves up to get some great smartphones with the rest of 2010...

How old is it actually?


I am waiting to renew my service on another line because of what I was told was coming...... they said on ATN Alltel that they will have a phone similar to the Motorola X that is coming for Verizon....so I am hoping!
 
Grrrr, idk if it's even worth it for a milestone (i.e. Droid) with the Droid 2 coming to Verizon... they'll get the new generation before we get the old.

Droid isn't even that much better than my OC'd eris...
 
Does anyone know if Alltel plans on upgrading the htc hero to android 2.2 froyo in the future? Or if the milestone will be launching with version 2.2 installed? I'm trying to decide between the two phones, and I'm leaning more towards the hero since I like the sense UI and I don't want to wait two more months for the Milestone to come out. The only thing that could affect my decision is if one of these devices will be getting the 2.2 update while the other one will not. Thanks for your help!!!

P.S. I cannot wait to upgrade to either of these phones as I am still using the old LG Glimmer and I can't wait to finally take the smartphone leap
