New Phone(s)

I don't recall any BlackBerry users here crying like little b*tches that they want new phones now. You're both here whimpering about your "junk" HTCs. You just can't get it through your thick skulls why a company on the verge of switching technologies wouldn't make it their first priority to release a bunch of new phones.

I also don't recall posting anywhere that my BB Tour "freezes". But I'm sure you've got it all figured out. I seem to recall someone with an HTC 6800 who "keeps up with the cellphone trends".......

Let me fix that for you:

Big boys? Perhaps we didn't drink the BB Kool-Aid and are not mobile OS fanboys.

Yea, because when AT&T takes it over, they will just simply move the selector switch from CDMA to GSM and all our phones will stop working. It won't take a year or two for the transition..nope, it's instant.

I'm glad dmwagner brought that up. My piece of Alltel will soon be Allied. I don't believe that they are making any kind of switch and will stay cdma. So nothing to "switch" for me. Thanks for playing, please try again!

Riiiight. That Touch Pro you're using doesn't have a "mobile OS" on it.

I guess if they want to do it the stupid way; yeah, they kinda could do that considering Alltel has a GSM network in many of the areas AT&T bought.

Once again I see logic is just not your bag. How often does US Cellular release new phones? About as often as Alltel. But I'm sure manufacturers will be falling all over themselves to get the latest and greatest to such a large carrier as Allied.
